Fans went crazy when Virat Kohli took a single on the first ball of the third ODI against Australia.
Earlier, Shubman Gill was dismissed for 24 runs when India had scored 69 in the 11th over off Hazlewood’s bowling.
When Kohli came to the crease, he was welcomed with loud cheers from the crowd. He immediately took a single, which was celebrated wildly, and followed it up with a fist pump.
This reaction came after Kohli had been dismissed for ducks in the first two matches of the series.
Australia has set a target of 237 in the 3rd and final ODI but were bowled out for 236 in 46.4 overs. Harshit Rana was the star with 4 wickets for 39 runs in 8.4 overs, while Washington Sundar took two crucial wickets for 44 runs in his 10 overs. Mohammad Siraj, Kuldeep Yadav, Prasidh Krishna, and Axar Patel picked up one wicket each.
