Former cricketer Ramiz Raja’s remark about Pakistan captain Babar Azam during the first Test match against South Africa at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore on Sunday has sparked controversy.
The incident took place on Day 1 when Raja, while on commentary duty, made a contentious comment as Babar went for a review of a caught-behind decision against him.

The on-field umpire ruled Babar not out, believing there was no edge. South Africa, however, decided to go for the Decision Review System (DRS). Replays confirmed there was no edge, allowing Babar to continue batting.
During the review, Ramiz Raja, according to a viral social media post, was heard saying on commentary, “Haan haan yeh ab drama karega” (If this is given out, he’ll create drama), a statement that quickly went viral on social media.
